About Rina Lyampe
Hailing from Moscow, Rina Lyampe discovered her passion for art at an early age, with her childhood drawings reflecting her evolving creative journey. By the age of ten, her remarkable talent earned her a place in an elite five-year program under the Russian Academic system, where she immersed herself in Art History, honed her technical skills, and studied the works of Old Masters.
Despite considering a career in theater, Rina's heart remained with visual arts, leading her to triumph in the competitive entrance exams for the College of Fine Arts. There, she thrived in a vibrant community of artists, engaging in passionate debates and creative experiments that shaped her artistic voice.
Following her education, Rina became a teacher at The Peoples University of Moscow, where her works poignantly captured the complexities of life under a totalitarian regime. After immigrating to the U.S., she experienced a transformative shift in her palette and perspective, drawing inspiration from American culture.
Rina's art has been showcased in prominent galleries, and she has illustrated for various esteemed publishing houses.
